Project Overview

Datum Groundworks is delivering a £2.12 million wastewater treatment works and infrastructure package for Stretton Beeston Limited at Beeston Park, Norwich.

Scope Of Works

The programme of work includes

• Construction of a new access road to the wastewater treatment works
• Earthworks, cut-and-fill operations and slope formation
• Deep foul drainage and precast concrete manholes
• Track drainage and infiltration pits
• Potable-water supply
• Utility trenches and service chambers
• Formation of the treatment works and temporary laydown compounds
• Substation foundations
• Outfall and headwall construction at Dobbs Beck
• Testing, commissioning and extensive soft landscaping

Current Update

The project requires the careful coordination of substantial earthworks, drainage, utilities and road construction across an extensive site. Datum is managing the sequencing of these activities to establish reliable access and essential infrastructure for the new wastewater treatment facility.
