Datum Groundworks delivered a £3.9 million groundworks package for McGoff Construction on Canterbury Road, Herne Bay.

The multi-phase development comprised the conversion of an existing care home unit and the construction of 50 new bungalows with associated infrastructure.

Datum’s 80-week programme included:

• Site enabling works
• Foundations
• Foul and surface-water drainage
• External works and supporting infrastructure

Outcome

The works required careful phasing and coordination to support both the existing building conversion and the construction of the new homes.
